1 year 10 months (Mar 2021 – Jan 2023) as a stay-out caregiver in the Philippines

Meriam looked after an 80-year-old diabetic female with heart condition and her welfare. She cleans and tidy the patient’s bedroom and do her laundry.

2 weeks (May 2022) as a part-time caregiver in the Philippines

Meriam looked after a 2-month-old infant and his welfare.

4 months (Dec 2022 – Apr 2023) as a relief caregiver in the Philippines

Meriam looked after a 79-year-old bedridden female and her welfare. She assisted in the cleaning and tidy the house, do her laundry. In all these, she managed well the patients’ welfare and comfort. For her future work, she hopes to widen her experience in patients’ care.

Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, such as vegetables dishes, fish and pork dishes etc., keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children and/or infant. In her local experience, she prepared infant’s milk and fed the child, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, changed his soiled clothing and diapers, accompanied him for outdoor activities and sunshine, administered his vitamins, watched over his playing and safety, soothed him to sleep, attended to and assisted in their daily needs.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In her caregiving experience, she took care of patients various health conditions, prepared their milk and meal, bathe and dress them with fresh clothing and diapers, administer their medications, monitor their vital signs, provide massages, accompany them for outdoor relaxation, strolls and medical check-ups, assist in their movements, attend to and assist in their needs.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

As a caregiver, her main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Meriam is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
