Experiences

2 years 8 months (Jan 2018 – Sep 2020) as a helper in Saudi Arabia

Juliet worked in a 2-storey house with a basement, garage, balcony, 4-bedroom, 5-toilets, 3-living room and 2-kitchen for an Arabian family of 5. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, wash and clean up the kitchen and utensils after use, do the laundry, ironing and folding.

Returned home, took up caregiving course and seeks new work opportunities.

(Nov 2022) 2-week OJT in caregiving in the Philippines

Juliet looked after a 47-year-old female, a hemiplegia paralysis with anxiety, and she looked after her welfare. In all these, she managed the work well and a capable helper. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and save up.

(Dec 2022 – Apr 2023)

During this period, she worked as a food handler and a piler at Christ the King College and Corbox Corporation in the Philippines.

Stays home, take rest and seeks new job opportunities.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In Saudi, she prepared and cooked basic Arabic dishes, such as kabsa and biryani etc.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children and/or infant and she looks after her own since birth. She looked after her 32-year-old sister with cerebral palsy, prepared her meals and fed her, sponge bathed and changed her with fresh clothing, maintained cleanliness and hygiene, attended to and assisted in her daily activities.



Elderly/ Patient Care

She is keen to look after patient. In her OJT, she checked and monitored the patient's vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, temperature and respiratory rate, educated patient’s in healthy lifestyle.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
