Experiences

2 years 4 months (Jun 2018 – Oct 2020) as helper in Manila, Philippines

Danica worked in a 2-storey house with 3-bedrooms, a toilet, living room, and kitchen for a family of 3 with a 10-year-old, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, do marketing, prepare and cook for the family, wash and clean up the kitchen and utensils after use, do laundry, ironing and folding.

Stayed home, took rest and seek new work opportunities.

2 years 4 months (Jan 2021 – May 2023) as stay-out caregiver in Surigao, Philippines

Danica looked after the welfare of a 67-year-old bedridden female, a stroke patient. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better caregiver and save up.

Stays home, looks after her family wellbeing and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, such as sinigang, adobo, menudo, afritada etc., keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children and/or infant. In her previous experience, she prepared the child’s meals, dressed and get her ready for school, accompanied her for outdoor play activities and during night hour, assisted and supervised her schoolwork, attended to all her needs.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In her caregiving experience, she prepared her meals, administered her medications, bathed and dressed her with fresh clothing, checked and monitored her vital signs, attended to and assisted with her needs.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets. In her previous experience, she groomed and fed a pug, kept clean the pet areas.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

As a caregiver, her main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Danica is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
