Kenny 39 married with a 7-, 10-, 12-, 14- and 17-year-old, and the eldest child in the family of 4 siblings. He wants to work in Singapore to support his family and children, and he is from Surigao Del Norte, Philippines.

He is a college undergraduate in BSc in Nursing and possess an NCII certificate in caregiving.



Experiences

9 years (2007 – 2016) works as private caregiver in the Philippines

Kenny looked after patients with various health conditions, such as COVID, Cervical, Prostate, Lung and Bone (multiple myeloma) cancer and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) patients’.

(2017 – 2018)

Stayed home and seek new work opportunities.

(2019 – present) works as nursing attendant in hospitals in the Philippines

Kenny attended to patients in ICU, COVID ward and Emergency Room. In all these, he managed the work well. For his future employment, he hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.



Cooking

He cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

He is keen to look after children and/or infant, and back home, he assists with his children’s welfare, prepares their milk, meals and feeds them, bathe and change them with fresh clothing and diapers, maintains cleanliness and hygiene, watch over their playing and safety, keep company and soothe them to sleep, attend to and assist in their needs.



Elderly/ Patient Care

He is keen to look after the elderly. In his caregiving experience, he fed them via NGT (Nasogastric Tube), bathed, groomed and changed them with fresh clothing and diapers, checked and monitored vital signs, such as patient's intake and output, changed the patient's soiled bed linens, cleaned the colostomy bag, administered their medications and nebulization, provided IV cannulation, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Hand phone

He will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, he will contact his family using his own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

He is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

As a caregiver, his main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Kenny is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
