Background

Susfidah 32 married with a 12- and 8-year-old, and she's the youngest in the family of 2 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support her family and she is from Batang, Indonesia.



Experience

3 years (2007 - 2010) as a helper in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Susfidah worked in a 4-bedroom with 6-toilets for a family of 4 including an 8- and 3-year-old,and she assisted in taking care of the children and helped out in cooking,does general house cleaning and related chores, together with 2 co helpers and 2 baby sitters.

3 years (2020 - 2023) as a helper in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Susfidah worked in a 5-bedroom house, with 6-toilets, for a a family of 4 including a 20-year-old female twin (with autism), the other one is a wheelchair bound, and the other one is able to walk, and she assisted the caregiver in looking after the twins. She does house cleaning, cooking and laundry, together with 2 caregivers and a co helper.



Cooking

She cooks Indonesian dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes as well.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children.



Elderly/Patient care

In her previous experience, she assisted in looking after the welfare of the 20-year-old twin with autism. She prepared their meals and fed them, bathed and dressed them with fresh clothing, administered their medications, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Pet Care

Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour.

Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other 3 working off-days, she will be compensated accordingly.

Any other off-day arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



2 years contract

She is aware that she will enter a 2 years contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Susfidah is mature and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer's needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
