Kristine Guia worked in a bungalow with 2-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 4 with a 4-month-old and an 11-year-old, and she looked after their welfare, together with a co-helper. Daily, she assists with housekeeping chores, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, iron the infant clothe and folding.

1 year 2 months (Oct 2022 – Dec 2023) on-call part-time helper in the Philippines

She looked after the welfare of a 67-year-old paralyzed female patient. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, such as adobo, sinigang, chop suey, pinakbet etc., keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children and/ infants and looks after her own since birth. In her previous experience, she prepared their milk, meals and fed them, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed them with fresh clothing and diapers, dressed and get them ready for school, accompanied them during play activities and night hours, sang lullabies and soothed infant to sleep, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. Besides the 67-year-old she also looked after her paralyzed grandmother, prepared and cooked their meals and milk, dressed them with fresh clothing and diapers, administered medications, watched over their safety, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Kristine Guia is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
