Prince Ahra Joy worked in a flat with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 4 with a 1- and 4-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the children, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better helper.

Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, such as adobo, sinigang, creamy beef mushroom, puchero, etc., keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her previous experience, she prepared their milk, meals and fed them, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed them with fresh clothing and diapers, administered their vitamins and medications, kept company and played with them, accompanied them for outdoor activities and during night hours, sang lullabies and soothed them to sleep, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly, and she looked after her 80-year-old grandmother, bedridden patient with Alzheimer’s disease before she passed on. She prepared her meals and fed her via NGT, assisted in bathing, dressed her with fresh clothing and diapers, administered her medications, accompanied her for medical check-ups and relaxation, attended to and assisted in her needs.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Prince Ahra Joy is mature and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer’s needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
