Experiences

2 years (Jun 2015 – Jun 2017) as a helper in Saudi Arabia

Liberty worked in a 2-storey house with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, 2-living room and a kitchen for an Arabian family of 5 with a 5-, 7- and 8-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

(Jul 2017 – Sep 2019)

Returned home, looked after her family welfare, and applied to work in Kuwait.  

2 years 8 months (Oct 2019 – Jun 2022) as a helper in Kuwait

Liberty worked in a 2-storey house with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room, dressing room and kitchen for a Kuwaiti family of 5 with a 6-month-old, 1- and 3-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

(Jul 2022 – Dec 2023)

Returned home, looked after her family welfare, and applied to work in Hong Kong.  

4 months (Jan 2024 – May 2024) as a helper in HongKong

Liberty worked in a flat with 3-bedrooms, a toilet, living room and kitchen for a Chinese family of 4 with an 8- and 11-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better helper.

(Jun 2024 – present)

Returns home, looks after her family welfare, and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In her previous experience, she prepared and cooked basic Chinese and Arabic dishes, such as shawarma, kabsa, molokhia, maqlooba etc.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her previous experience, she prepared their milk and meals, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and dressed them with fresh clothing and diapers, dressed and sent them to-and-fro from school, assisted and supervised their schoolwork, accompanied during nigh hours, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly Care    

She is keen to look after the elderly.



Pet Care    

She is keen to look after pets.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Liberty is matured and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer’s needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
