Lore May worked in a flat with 2-bedrooms, 2-toilet, a living room and kitchen for a family of 4 with a 2-month-old and 4-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

Daily, she cleans and tidy his bedroom, does his laundry. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, such as adobo, menudo, afritada and vegetable dishes etc., keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her local experience, she prepared their milk and meals, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed them with fresh clothing and diapers, administered their vitamins and medication, read them books, taught and familiarize them in colors, shapes, letters and numbers, sang lullabies and soothed them to sleep.



Elderly Care    

She is keen to look after the elderly. In her local experience, she prepared and cooked his meals, assisted to bathe and changed him with fresh clothing, administered his vitamins and medications, accompanied him outdoor for sunshine and relaxation, attended to and assisted in his needs.



Pet Care    

She is keen to look after pets and back home, she grooms and feed a Japanese Spitz, keep clean the pet areas.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Lore May is mature and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer’s needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
