2 years 1 month (Sep 2016 – Oct 2018) work as a helper in Singapore.

Manilyn worked in 3-storey house with 3-bedrooms, 5-toilets, a living room and a kitchen for a family of 2 with a 64-year-old stroke patient, together with 2 other co-helpers. Daily she cleans and tidy the house, do marketing, prepare and cook meals for the family, wash and clean the kitchen and utensils after use, do laundry, ironing and folding, clean and wash family car, looks after the elderly welfare, wash and clean up after him, prepare his meals and fed him, bathe and change him with fresh clothing and diaper, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, accompany him outdoor for sunshine, relaxation and doctor’s appointment, administer his medication and vitamins, attend to his daily needs. In all these, she learned to be a patient, reliable and responsible helper and for her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better helper, learn to cook more Chinese and other various dishes.

(Nov 2018 – present) Returns home, spend time with her family and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes as well.


Childcare

She is keen to look after children and infant.


Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.


Off-day

The helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other 3 working off-days, she will be compensated accordingly. Any other off-day arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.


2 years contract

She is aware that she will enter a 2-year contract.


Recommendation

In summary, Manilyn is mature and ready to take on new challenge. She does housekeeping chores, willing to look after elderly, children and/or infants.
