1 year 3 months (Oct 2018 – Jan 2020) work as helper in Kuwait.

Jumelyn worked in 4-bedrooms apartment with 3-toilets for a family of 6 with an infant and a 6-year-old. Daily she does household chores, prepare and cook Arabic dishes, wash and clean the kitchen and utensils after use, do laundry, ironing and folding, look after the children welfare. As for the infant, she prepares her milk and fed her, wash and sterilize feeding bottles, bathe and change her with fresh clothing and diaper, maintain hygiene and security, keep company and cradle her to sleep. As for the older child, prepares his meal, supervise and assist with his homework, dress and send him to and fro from school. She was asked by the employer to monitor his wife movement, as she does not want to get involve in their family marital affair, she left the contract early. In all these, she learned to be a responsible and reliable helper, and for her future employment, she hopes to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes, culture and to save up.

(Feb 2020 – present) Returned home, spend time with her family and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes as well.


Childcare

She is keen to look after children and infant.


Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.


Off-day

The helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other 3 working off-days, she will be compensated accordingly. Any other off-day arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.


2 years contract

She is aware that she will enter a 2-year contract.


Recommendation

In summary, Jumelyn is mature and ready to take on new challenge. She does housekeeping chores, willing to look children and/or infants.
