Mary Joyce worked in a flat with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 4 with a year-old, and she looked after his welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, weekly marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, tend to garden and plant watering.

Stayed home, worked in a Beauty Parlor, and seek new work opportunities.

8 months (Jun 2021 – Feb 2022) as a nanny in Iloilo, Philippines

Mary Joyce worked in a flat with 2-bedrooms, a toilet, living room and kitchen for a family of 4 with an infant, and she looked after his welfare, together with a co-helper. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, such as adobo, chicken curry, pancit, tinola and fried dishes etc., keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children and/or infant and looks after her own since birth. In her previous experience, she prepared their milk, meals and fed them, bathed and changed them with fresh clothing and diapers, administered their vitamins, accompanied them for outdoor activities, sang lullabies and soothed them to sleep, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly and looked after her 92-year-old grandfather with mobility problem before he passed on. She prepared his milk and meals, assisted to bathe and changed him with fresh clothing and diapers, administered in his medications, attended to and assisted in his needs.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware that she will enter a 2-year contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Mary Joyce is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
