Experiences

3 years (2017 – 2019) as helper in Saudi Arabia

Bebelyn worked in a flat with 4-bedrooms, 4-toilets, 2-living rooms, a garage and kitchen for an Arabian family of 7. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, laundry, ironing and folding, tend to garden and plant watering, wash and clean three cars.

Returned home, looked after her family welfare and applied to work in Qatar.

2 years 2 months (Nov 2021 – Jan 2024) as helper in Qatar

Bebelyn worked in a flat with 4-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for an Egyptian family of 2 with a 60-year-old female, together with a driver. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the elderly, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better helper.

Returns home, looks after her family and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In her previous experience, she prepared and cooked basic Arabic dishes, such as biryani, saloona and laham etc.  



Childcare

She is keen to look after children and looks after her own since birth. She prepares their milk and meals, wash and sterilize feeding bottles, bathe and dress them with fresh clothing and diapers, keep company and soothe them to sleep, get the older one ready for school, accompany them for outdoor activities, attend to and assist in their needs.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In Qatar, she prepared her meals and medications, laundry, accompanied her in her travel abroad, attended to and assisted in her needs.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Bebelyn is mature and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer’s needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
