3 years 1 month (Jun 2013 – Jul 2016) as helper in Dubai

Michelle worked in a flat with 3-bedrooms, 3-toilets, a living room and kitchen for family of 4 with a 9- and 14-year-old, and she looked after their welfare, together with a Filipina co-helper. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, wash and clean kitchen and utensils after use, laundry, ironing and folding.

(Aug 2016 – Jan 2017)

Returned home, took rest and applied to work in Saudi Arabia.

2 years 6 months (Feb 2017 – Aug 2019) as helper in Saudi Arabia

Michelle worked in a flat with 2-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a 75-year-old female with health complications, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for her, laundry, ironing and folding.

(Sep 2019 – Aug 2021)

Returned home, looked after her children welfare and applied to work in Saudi Arabia.

2 years 1 month (Sep 2021 – Oct 2023) as helper in Saudi Arabia

Michelle worked in a 2-storey house with 4-bedrooms, 3-toilets, a living room and kitchen for family of 2 with a 78-year-old asthmatic female, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better helper.

(Nov 2023 – present)

Returns home, worked as Assistant Helper in a canteen for 4 months, and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In her previous experience, she prepared and cooked basic Arabic dishes, such biryani, saloona, etc



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants and looks after her own since birth. In Dubai, she prepared their meals, dressed and get them ready for school, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In Saudi, she prepared their meals, bathed and dressed them with a fresh clothing, administered their medication, accompanied them for medical check-ups and outdoor activities, attended to and assisted in their needs.  



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Michelle is mature and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer’s needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
