2 years 1 month (Jun 2011 – Jul 2013) as nanny cum helper in the Philippines

Hazel worked in a bungalow with a single bedroom, toilet, living room and kitchen for family of 3 with a 3- month-old, and she looked after his welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry and handwash of the baby’s clothing, ironing and folding.

2 years 2 months (Aug 2019 – Oct 2021) as stay-out nanny cum helper in the Philippines

Hazel worked in a 2-storey house with 4-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room, veranda and kitchen for family of 5 with a 3- and 6-year-old, and she assisted to look after their welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry and folding, tend to garden and plant watering.

(Nov 2021 – Nov 2023)

2 months (Dec 2023 – Feb 2024) as stay-out nanny cum helper in the Philippines

Hazel worked in a bungalow with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for family of 4 with a 2- and 6-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, wash and clean kitchen and utensils after use, laundry and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

(Mar 2024 – present)

Stays home, looks after her children welfare and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, such as sinigang, tinola, adobo, etc., keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants and looks after her own since birth. In her previous experience, she prepared their milk, meals and fed them, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed, dressed and sent them to-and-fro from school, maintained cleanliness and hygiene, accompanied them for sunshine and relaxation, attended to and assisted in their needs.  



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly and she assists in looking after her grandparents, an 86- and 92-year-old with renal problem and rheumatism. She prepares and cook their meals, dress with fresh clothing and diapers, transfer from bed to wheelchair and vice versa, attend to and assist in their needs.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Hazel is mature and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer’s needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
