Danijah 33 married with a 5- and 8-years-old, and the 5th child in the family of 8 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support her family and she is from Brebes, Indonesia.



Experience

2 years (2009 - 2011) as a helper in Tangerang, Indonesia.

Danijah worked in a 4-bedroom house with 2-toilets. Her main duty was to look after a 7-month-old infant, and 2 kids aged 4- and 5-years-old. She does general housework and cooking.

1 year (2011 - 2012) as a helper in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Danijah worked in a 2-storey house with 4-bedrooms and 5-toilets, for a family of 5. She does general housework, marketing and cooking.

2 years (2012 - 2014) as a helper in Jakarta, Indonesia.

She worked in a 2-bedroom house with a toilet, and she looked after the welfare of a 10-year-old child. She does general household chores, marketing and cooking.

2 years (2020 - 2022) as a helper in Jakarta, Indonesia.

She worked in a 4-bedroom house with 2-toilets. She looked after a 70-year-old female with Parkinson's disease, attend to and assist with her daily needs. She does general housework and cooking as well.



Cooking

She cooks Indonesian dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes as well.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her local experience, she prepared their milk, meals and fed them, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed with fresh clothing and diapers, administered vitamins and medications, accompanied them for outdoor activities and during night hours, soothed them to sleep or nap, attended to and assisted in their needs.  



Elderly care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In her local experience, she prepared her meals, bathed and dressed her with fresh clothes, administered vitamins and medications, checked and monitored blood pressure level, accompanied her during exercise, attended to and assisted in her needs.



Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other 3 working off-days, she will be compensated accordingly.

Any other off-day arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2 years contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Danijah is mature and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer's needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
