Marben looked after the welfare of a 72-year-old female with dementia, together with a co-caregiver.

2 years (2014 – 2016) as a caregiver in the Philippines

Marben looked after the welfare of a 70-year-old male patient fed via NGT, with psoriasis. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better caregiver.

Stays home, looks after her family welfare, and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her local experience, she prepared her milk and fed her, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed her with fresh clothing and diapers, watched over her safety, administered her vitamins, accompanied her for outdoor relaxation and immunization, kept company and soothed her to sleep.



Elderly Care    

She is keen to look after the elderly. In her caregiving experience, she prepared their meals and fed them, administered their medications, accompanied them for outdoor strolls and relaxation, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

As a caregiver, her main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Marben is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
