4 years 5 months (Mar 2013 – Aug 2017) as a nanny cum helper in Kuwait

Rodena worked in a 2-storey house with 2-bedrooms and 2-toilets for a Kuwaiti family of 4 with a-year-old twins, and she looked after their welfare, together with a co-helper. Daily, she assisted in housekeeping chores, laundry, ironing and folding.

(Sep 2017 – Oct 2018)

Returned home, looked after her family welfare, and applied to work in Dubai.

4 years (Nov 2018 – Nov 2022) as a helper in Dubai

Rodena worked in a 2-storey house with 2-bedrooms and 2-toilets for a family of 4 with a 1- and 3-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, laundry, ironing and folding.

(2022 – 2023)

Returned home, looked after her family welfare, and seek new work opportunities.

1 year (2023 – 2024) as a caregiver in the Philippines

Rodena lookeds after the welfare of an 89-year-old Chinese female with dementia. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better helper.  

(2024 – present)

Returns home, looks after her family welfare, and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her previous experience, she prepared their milk and fed them, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed them with fresh clothing and diapers, dressed and get them ready for school, read them story books, soothed them to sleep, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In her local experience, she prepared her meals and fed her, bathed and dressed her with fresh clothes, administered her medications, checked and monitored vital signs, attended to and assisted in her needs.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets and back home, she grooms and feed an Aspin, keep clean the pet areas.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Rodena is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
