2 years 3 months (Dec 2016 – Mar 2019) as a Nursing Aide at Adventist Medical Center Iligan, Philippines

Josua assigned to various wards, such as the pediatric ward etc., and he looked after children (age 1 to 10 year-old) and patients with various health conditions.

Stayed home, spent time with her family, and seek new work opportunities.

1 year 8 months (Oct 2020 – Jun 2022)

He worked as a Nursing Attendant in Department of Health (DOH) in the Philippines.

(Jun 2022 – Jul 2022)

Stayed home, took rest and seek new work opportunities.

1 year 5 months (Jul 2022 – Dec 2023) as a Nursing Attendant at Gregorio T. Lluch Memorial Hospital in Iligan City, Philippines

He looked after patients with various medical conditions.

He looks after the welfare of an 87-year-old asthmatic male patient with bone fracture.  In all these, he managed the work well. For his future employment, he hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.



Cooking                   

He cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

He is keen to look after children and/or infant. In his caregiving experience, he checked and monitored their vital signs, assisted nurse on-duty to administered their medications, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly Care

He is keen to look after the elderly. In his caregiving experience, he fed them via NGT, bathed and changed their soiled clothes, checked and monitored patient’s vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiratory rates, assisted nurse on-duty in transferring, admitting and discharging of patients, measure and record patient’s food and liquid intake, oral, urinary and fecal output, maintained cleanliness and hygiene, assisted in their mobility, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Pet Care

He is keen to look after pets.



Hand phone

He will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, he will contact his family using his own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

He is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

As a caregiver, his main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Josua is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
