Jay Rose worked in a 2-storey house with a single bedroom, toilet, living room and kitchen for a family of 4 with a 3- and 7-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

2 years (Mar 2018 – Mar 2020) as a helper in Bacolod, Philippines

Jay Rose worked in an apartment with 2-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 5 with a newborn, and she looked after his welfare, together with a co-helper. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

(Apr 2020 – present)

Stays home, looks after her family welfare and currently, works as a lady guard in the Philippines.



Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, such as adobo, nilaga, puchero, paksiw etc., keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her local experience, she prepared their milk and meals, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed them with fresh clothing and diapers, watched over their playing and safety, sang lullabies and soothed them to sleep, dressed and sent them to-and-fro from school, attended to and assisted in their needs.  



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly, and she looks after her parents’ welfare. She prepares their meals, administers their medications, attend to and assist in their needs.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets. In her previous experience, she groomed and fed a Shih Tzu, kept clean the pet areas.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
