Experience

3 years (2015 - 2018) as a helper in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Linda worked in a 3-bedroom house with 2-toilets, for a family of 3 including a 2-year-old child, and she looked after the child's welfare. She does general housework, do marketing and cooking, looked after a small dog.

2 years (2022 - 2024) as a helper in Jakarta, Indonesia.

She worked in a 3-bedroom house with 2-toilets for a family of 4 including a 42-year-old female with twice appendectomy operation, and she looked after her welfare. She does general housework, do marketing and cooking as well.



Cooking

She cooks Indonesian dishes, keen to learn to Chinese and various other dishes as well.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants and looks after her own since birth. In her local experience, she prepared her meals, bathed and dressed her with fresh clothes, send and fetch her to-and-fro from school, watched over her playing and safety, accompanied her for outdoor activities, attended to and assisted in her needs.



Elderly/Patient care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In her local experience, she looked after a 42-year-old female patient with appendectomy operation. She assisted her, transfer her from bed to wheelchair and vice versa, prepare her meals and fed, clean up after her and bathe her, change her diaper, administer her medications, attended to and assisted with her daily needs.



Petcare

She is keen to look after pets. In her previous experience, she looked after a small dog. She fed, groomed and clean up the pet area.



Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



Off-day

The helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other 3 working off-days, she will be compensated accordingly.

Any other off-day arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2 years contract.



Recommendation

In summary, Linda is experience and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer’s needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
